Dear Reader, If you’ve picked up my story, let me tell you exactly what you’re stepping into — and I won’t sugarcoat it. I am the kind of writer who believes that life is built on the chaos of relationships — messy, complicated, sharp-edged relationships full of love, betrayal, sarcasm, misunderstandings, and unspoken emotions. You won’t find perfect characters here. You’ll find people who bicker like siblings, banter like frenemies, fall in love reluctantly (or too hard), snap at each other in frustration, and yet somehow always circle back — because deep connections are rarely smooth, but they’re always magnetic. I write ensemble stories, which means you’re stepping into a world where families, friends, neighbors, and rivals are all tangled together. Everyone knows everyone, grudges stretch back years, and affection is often disguised under layers of sarcasm and sass. One dinner party might bring together old classmates bickering like they’re still teenagers, sisters conspiring in corners, and enemies locking eyes across the room — all while hidden crushes simmer under the surface and broken hearts are nursed quietly. You’ll notice that in my stories, dialogue does the heavy lifting. Words aren’t just words here; they are weapons, shields, bridges, and confessions. Expect fast-paced, layered conversations — the kind where people say one thing but mean three others. I love writing banter that dances on the line between funny and cutting, and confrontations that crack open long-hidden vulnerabilities. If you like stories where you can hear the characters’ voices ringing clear and sharp, you’re in the right place. Emotionally, I don’t shy away from heartbreak, betrayal, regret, and growth. You might laugh at the characters’ antics in one scene, only to feel the weight of an old grudge or unrequited love hit you in the next. My stories are built on emotional contrasts — comedy wrapped around pain, nostalgia mixed with bitterness, hope flickering after disappointment. And just when you think a relationship is irreparably broken, you might find a tender thread still tying those characters together. If you love: Big, chaotic family gatherings where not everyone gets along (but everyone has history), Enemies-to-lovers tension and friends-to-enemies heartbreak (and vice versa), Strong female friendships that feel like home, Siblings who argue but would burn the world for each other, Slow-burn relationships full of unresolved tension and sharp words, Fathers bickering like schoolboys and mothers bonding over nostalgia, …then my stories will feel like familiar ground. Ultimately, what I’m trying to tell you is this: People are complicated. Love is messy. And I like writing about both — with a good dose of sarcasm and a full heart. So settle in. There will be mango thefts, accidental confessions, family feasts full of grudges, and plenty of sharp-tongued characters you’ll want to throttle and hug. Welcome to my world. It’s chaotic, but I promise — it’s worth it.
